Just as I suspected, the man spent a chunk of change buying shoes for his kids. Three pairs for almost $210.00? Outrageous. What’s wrong with gently used items from Goodwill? The sheer wastefulness stuns me. Today, here are the numbers:

$ 205.92 Shoes (SHOES, GODDAMNIT)
$ 29.87 Lunch with a friend
$ 7.00 Coffee and a danish

Total for the day: $ 242.79

$ 1.00 Parking
$ 3.00 Corn

Total: $4.00

Tomorrow, we’re buying shoes for the kids for school. We’ll spend more than $4.00, I’m sure.
